tote this

Did you guys see this article in Sunday’s NY Times on the new lunch bag aesthetic? Loved it. In part because I made this lunch bag a couple years ago and I still proudly tote it into work. And because of all my memories of the hand-decorated bags my mom used to make for me and my two sisters. Love is, people. Love is.

But look at this gorgeous waxed cotton lunch bag with leather straps and copper rivets. Come on. It’s the No. 215 tote from the Artifact Bag Co. Founder Chris Hughes started selling them on Etsy, and then had quit his day job to launch a full collection. So well-deserved.

You can find them all the bags from the Artifact Bag Co. right here, including the No. 175 that is making my heart pitter-pat.

This is great! and I like your handmade lunch bag. My co-workers from a previous job got tired of seeing me carry around my 90's teal and black large box shaped lunch bag, so they all chipped in together and got me a new one; I wish I was kidding...but it really was that ugly. anyway...i'm really happy with my new blue and lime green lunchopolis bag; thanks to my co-workers for keeping me hip! Although, I'd LOVE to have the bag you've got pictured. :)
